Hugues Chevalier creates its models in the great tradition of the decorators of the 1930s. It entrusts its collections to talented designers. The “Paris”, “Haussmann” and “Vendôme” collections have thus been created by the internationally renowned Italian designer Telemaco, who is the creator of many of the brand’s iconic pieces.

An exceptional collaboration
Telemaco has been collaborating with Hugues Chevalier since 2014 and has designed three major collections for the brand. Each one, “Paris”, “Haussmann” and “Vendôme”, has its own identity and its own design line. For the Paris collection, the designer Telemaco has chosen timeless lines. Sleek design in perfect dimensions highlights the strength of the material: oak, metal and marble. The Vendôme collection is a modern interpretation of Art Deco furniture. Telemaco was inspired by the original design of the period, enhanced with luxurious materials and a touch of modernity.
High-quality furniture for Hugues Chevalier
The designer Telemaco has designed a complete range of furniture for each of these collections. This line of furniture has its place in the living room, dining room, bedroom or office.
Haussmann Collection Hugues Chevalier
Made in a harmony of luxurious and comfortable shapes, the Haussmann collection reinterprets the references of Art Deco: the signature of Hugues Chevalier. The collection stands out for its high quality and its ornate subtlety (interlaced handles, metal frame work…). The Haussmann collection is also distinguished by the use of marble, a first for the Hugues Chevalier brand. The major pieces in this collection are the sofa, the dining table and the console.
The sofa is distinguished by all the adjustments that can be made to its shape (straight sofa, corner sofa or panoramic sofa), as well as the adjustments available in the finishes: wood (matt, satin or gloss varnish) and metal (chrome, bronze or gunmetal). The upholstery is varied: leather or fabric with or without diamond stitching. There is a marble option on the armrests.
The Haussmann dining table has quickly become a Hugues Chevalier classic. The metal work on the arches of the frame gives it a lightness and a unique design. This model is available with a marble top or a wooden top. Finally, the console, which uses the style codes of Art Deco products, is also a unique piece, due to the balance of its dimensions and design.
Telemaco, an internationally renowned Italian designer
The designer Telemaco was born in Italy. He lives and works in Pesaro, a few kilometres from Urbino, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance painters Raffaello and Bramante.
Telemaco has always been full of creativity. This energy will lead him to work as much on industrial productions as on the design of unique objects and pieces. After completing his studies, in 1975 he created his Studio of Interior and Industrial Design where he designs furniture and artistic projects. In 1996, he opened a studio in the United States where he was named best interior designer several times at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles.
Since then, he has collaborated with prestigious architects and companies in Italy and abroad.
