Laura Gonzalez
new decor
at La Gare restaurant

For fans of the Chaussée de la Muette in the Passy district in the heart of the 16th arrondissement in Paris, the restaurant La Gare is reopening its doors. After several years of renovation work, this former Parisian train station, transformed into a restaurant in the 90s, is getting a complete overhaul. Thanks to the intervention of the Moma Group and the genius of the interior designer Laura Gonzalez, this emblematic 16th century place is reborn from its ashes.

A luxuriant and international atmosphere

La Gare guarantees us a new beginning: a travel with a thousand flavours, simple, affordable and authentic.  In the kitchen, chef Gastón Acurio bestows dishes with a thousand flavours from around the world. The very beautiful terrace overlooking the Ranelagh Garden allows you to enjoy a huge charcoal spit-roast or a Sunday brunch.

Laura Gonzalez has imagined an exotic world

On the decoration side, the interior architect has worked with talent on the 600 m² spread over two levels. Laura Gonzalez designed a decor with colourful and textured notes inspired by the Chef’s culinary blends. Luxuriant vegetation on the terrace, Mediterranean decoration on the ground floor, mixing turquoise ceramics with wicker bar stools covered with fabrics with ethnic motifs.

The Café de La Gare

Upstairs, the Café de la Gare has been transformed into a real winter garden with vintage furniture in navy blue velvet, geometric bases and a magnificent bar in Calacatta marble. Signatures Singulières highly recommends this address. The Café de La Gare is to be (re)discovered as soon as possible!
