Atelier Alain Ellouz :
spotlight on alabaster

The Atelier Alain Ellouz is well-known for mastering the art of transforming alabaster into stunning creations. In fact, its exceptional lightings adorn all the most beautiful private residences, royal palaces, hotels, and luxury boutiques. “As a French Art Workshop, I am proud to participate in the promotion of alabaster and our French savoir-faire abroad,” says Alain Ellouz. Signatures Singulières Magazine met with Alain Ellouz last February in his workshop to discover a forgotten material: alabaster.

Edition, a new alabaster lighting collection

Atelier Alain Ellouz unveils a new and elegant line of products. Edition is indeed a collection of small alabaster lights entirely handmade. Easy to install and simple to use, these alabaster luminaires have been specifically designed to suit contemporary homes. This collection will, among other things, be distributed in a network of partner showrooms.

LYRA, MONA, ATHENA and GAMA, the nomadic lamps Edition.

As the first opus of this new collection : four nomadic table lamps

Beautifully handcrafted, these nomadic alabaster lamps are unique and captivating. Thanks to their autonomy of 8 hours at a time, they can be the perfect companions throughout the day. Moreover and with a simple touch, these luminaires bring a soft and soothing light to your interior and reveal the hidden richness of alabaster. Signatures Singulières admires their elegance and ability to sublimate our interiors or gardens!

LYRA, GAMA, MONA, and ATHENA: a very feminine lighting collection where each lamp has its own identity

The light at the heart of the stone penetrates the patterns of alabaster and reveals the imprints set into its depth. Nevertheless, each of the lamps has its own personality and enhances a harmonious design!

Such as a precious and contemporary candy jar, LYRA perfectly matches an aesthetic decoration.

Reminiscent of a world map, ATHENA invites you to travel around the world. Penetrated by a soothing light, this nomadic lamp reveals the fluid patterns of alabaster like ocean currents. The dream: traveling from the comfort of one’s sofa!
Above and below: combining curves and pure lines, GAMA suits both classic and contemporary interiors. An architectural lamp that intensifies alabaster’s inherent beauty.

On the other hand, MONA is simple, elegant, and very sensual. Thus, its strength resides in a subtle design. The hand is irresistibly attracted to the material. The eye is seduced by the density of light.

Creation is at the heart of the Atelier Alain Ellouz

Surrounded by a creative and innovative team, Alain has been driving the Atelier’s projects since 2005. On the one hand, his talented accomplice Marion Biais-Sauvêtre has been leading the designers since the early days. On the other hand, Alexis Jouvin directs the research and development office and develops ever more innovative technical solutions. Not to mention the sculptors, stone cabinetmakers, and fitters whose expertise is vital to the workshop. The Atelier Alain Ellouz is part of the French heritage of the best craftsmen and craftswomen, and will undoubtedly continue to amaze us!
